About the Academic Initiative
Our Mission
Partnering with faculty to restore the plausibility of the Gospel and the prominence of the Christian worldview in academia by:
- Influencing Today's Professors . . .
- Aiding Christian faculty in fulfilling God's call to manifest Christ and the Christian worldview on campus and through their scholarship.
- Offering non-believing faculty a plausible and compelling explanation of the Christian faith.
- Cultivating Tomorrow's Professors . . .
- Providing instruction in Christian thought and encouraging students to think about their studies from a Biblical worldview.
- Identifying students called to serve Christ as scholars and mentoring them through their academic training

Our Organization
Academic Initiative is a division of Faculty Commons: www.facultycommons.com. Faculty Commons is the faculty ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. We are committed to free intellectual inquiry, knowing that all truth is God's truth, and we warmly invite professors from all Christian traditions to partner with us. It is not necessary to agree with our statement of faith to partner with us, but as Campus Crusade staff members we affirm this statement.
